This DXpedition was primarily to enter the 2016 CQ World Wide CW contest. I travelled from London LHR via Amsterdam to Suriname’s capital, Paramaribo on the weekend prior to the contest. (The CQWW CW contest always takes place during the last full weekend in November).

Once in Paramaribo, I was collected by Ramon, PZ5RA, who took me to his QTH about 30 minutes drive away. A few hours later I was joined by my friends from the Voodoo Contest Group who had flown in from the States.
