QSL for TI7W is via W4FS

Note! It is not worth my while having cards printed for so few QSOs, therefore direct cards will be home-made and printing of bureau cards will be outsourced to the URE QSL service here: https://qsl.ure.es/en/como-funciona/.

On-Line QSL Request for Ti7/G4IRN:

I travelled with Mike G3WPH from London Heathrow Airport on February 9th - just about one of the windiest days of the year. Our intention was to meet Lee KY7M in Dallas for a night's stopover but we had our first AA flight cancelled (to Dallas) and then a second BA flight (to Chicago) cancelled but finally were allocated a Virgin flight to Boston. Lee had to stay in Dallas alone overnight and we managed to catch up with him the next morning.

We were lucky to get rebooked twice, relatively easily. Others had to wait hours at the Customer Services desk to reschedule their flights from LHR that day.

Arriving at Boston Airport in the early hours, we had a few hours to kill before the onward flight to Dallas.

The station uses a pair of Flex 6600M transceivers. Logging is with DX Log.

Mike/G3WPH and Lee/KY7M opertate Ti7W.

(Ti5W is the old station call-sign).

A pair of Optibeam OB 17-4's sit up at about 90ft.

One on West Coast US, the other on East Cost US.

Other antennas include two 3 ele wire Yagis on 80m

and a full size sloping delta loop on 160m

The following wildlife was seen just outside the shack!

This is a sloth - he was not a member of our team.

Final score summary from DXLog.
