PUSR IOT USR-N520 Serial Ports (2) to Ethernet Server - SOLD

I have two of these devices for sale -  I am already using a pair of them in my remote station and these units are surplus to requirements. In other words, I bought too many.

These units are brand new, unused and with their original packing. The manufacturer's product page has the manuals and associated software, it can be found here:  USR-N520

The units allow devices with Serial Ports (RS232) to be controlled over the Internet or over an Ethernet from a PC running Windows, as if the serial port was plugged directly into the PC istelf.  I am currently controlling a rotator, linar amplifier and radio over the Internet using these devices with 100% reliability.

The USR-N520 comes complete with power supply and two 9-way serial cables. Your serial devices (up to two) plug into the USR-N520; the unit itself plugs into the network router via an Ethernet cable (not supplied).  It requires some initial, simple configuration to set up a static IP address on your LAN, otherwise its 'Plug & Play'. I'm happy to help with the initial setup.

On the Windows PC you run the free software provided on the 'Downloads' page at the link above. You configure a virtual serial port for each of the ports being used on the N520 and point it to the IP address of the Serial Port Server. (NB If you are using this over the Internet you will require a public IP address, DDNS address or VPN  at the site where the unit is being used).

It does what it says on the tin and does it very effectively.  I am seeking £60 + P&P for each of these units and can provide help in setting them up.  Photos below.

The USR-VCOM software creates virtual serial ports on your Windows PC.

You then connect to these ports with your software applications as if the devices were directly plugged into the PC.
