I had the great pleasure of visiting ham radio friends in Phoenix, Arizona during October 2016 – I took advantage of a family visit to the USA to plan a stop-over in Phoenix – home to my Voodoo Contest Group colleagues and also some of the Arizona Outlaws.
Lee KY7M and his wife Debbie very kindly offered to host me; the date I had chosen was coincidentally a Central Arizona DX Association meeting day and Lee, in his capacity as President of CADXA was quick to ask me if I would like to make a presentation to the meeting.
After collecting me from the airport, Lee gave me a quick spin around downtown Phoenix and then it was on to the QTH of John K7WP for lunch.
